Manish (born on 11 September 1996), Known professionally as A/One Sam Rapper, is an Indian rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, performer and blogger. He is known for his debut single ‘RAP GAME’, which was first released in August 2019 on YouTube. The single got 8k views on YouTube within two months and now it has 15k views which is ok as a beginner. He is been into Hip-Hop/Rap since 2015. What once began as a hobby, music eventually became a purpose. After high school he moved his carrier to hip/hop Rap, to follow his dreams and pursue music full-time.

˅ Early life

 

A/One Sam Rapper was born Manish on September 11, 1996, in New Delhi. He is the elder of two siblings. Despite his father not being there Sam was raised in South Delhi in a middle-class neighbourhood.

In 2013, while growing up in New Delhi (India), Sam began his career with social media, when he was 17 years old. He paid attention when his friend showed a video on YouTube this is how he discovered YouTube. He also found and joined Twitter, in March 2015, when he was 18.

He moved to the platform and joined Instagram in 2017 when he was 20 years old This eventually led him to write songs and began to post there.

Sam, who at the time spoke only Hindi (Indian) language, taught himself to speak English by watching English movies, and web series with subtitles and listening to some artists like Akon, Britney spears, Wiz Khalifa, The Weeknd, Taylor swift, J.L and J.B.

Sam began listening to hip hop music in 2013 when a Ghanaian friend (Sheriff) he knew on the internet introduced him to Young Thug and Migos and Sam began to explore deeper into the genre, discovering Nicki Minaj, G-Eazy, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Asap rocky, Lil Wayne, Tyga, Jidenna, Big sean at first. Sam wrote his first rap song in 2017 but didn’t record it in a studio at that time but after 2 years he wrote a RAP GAME song in 2019 and recorded it in a studio after that he released his first song all over the world on digital platforms and got a thousand views within one day.

 

Sam originally wanted to become an Architecture.

He was introduced to the music industry to launch his first soundtrack "Rap Game" on SoundCloud first and the same day on YouTube. After some days he releases his soundtrack on different music platforms like Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, iTunes, Amazon Music, JioSaavn and many others. A/One Sam Rapper has released his soundtracks on foreign music streaming platforms like Deezer, Tidal and Napster. You get A/One Sam Rapper music on TikTok, Triller, Instagram or Facebook library also. 
Basically, A/One Sam Rapper starts his career first as a Songwriter. Sometimes later he enters the music field. 2017–2019: Career beginnings with Single "Rap Game"

 

My music journey begins with my first rap song which I wrote on the 27th of august 2017 after this I wrote many rap songs and one of the songs I recorded in the studio which is ‘RAP GAME’ was released on 24 August 2019 and got a thousand views within one day.

Manish began his career under the name A/One Sam Rapper and released his debut single ‘RAP GAME’ on 24 August 2019, on his YouTube account. The song was managed by Mausiqi India. Since the official video for the song was uploaded onto his YouTube account, it has been viewed over 15 Thousand times.


2020–2021: Single "I'm Rapper"


A/One Sam Rapper released his second track "I'm Rapper" after a year on his Official artist channel on YouTube. I'm working on a new project and there are some serious songs, Sam said he was spending most of his stay at home in South Delhi and has big plans for the future due to the pandemic he couldn't continue his songs but in upcoming days he has written some Hindi songs and will release worldwide. He is going to take the next step in Hindi rap music industry too and will impress you with his skills in Rap at the same time he is doing his bachelor's degree in Arts and English.

Manish currently lives in South Delhi, New Delhi with his Mother and Brother after moving there in 2005.

Manish’s original stage name, A/One Sam Rapper. I came up with a couple of names which were cool, and he was just like ‘A/One Sam Rapper’, I was like, that is really catchy.

As a result, he began to be professionally known as A/One Sam Rapper from 2017 onwards.
